Dave Markle

Dave Markle is a lifelong builder, entrepreneur, and industry innovator with over four decades of experience shaping residential and commercial construction across the United States.

At just 21 years old, Dave founded Tulsa Dynaspan, Inc., launching what would become a major construction and concrete manufacturing enterprise. What began as a prefabricated concrete operation quickly expanded into full-scale general construction, ready-mix concrete production, crane and trucking services, site development, and paving. Under his leadership, the company grew to employ more than 300 people and completed over 2,000 projects across 13 states, supported by offices and production facilities in Tulsa and Orlando.

In addition to leading large-scale operations, Dave was actively involved as a real estate developer, overseeing both residential and commercial projects and gaining firsthand insight into how thoughtful design, durability, and cost efficiency impact long-term value.

After retiring from Tulsa Dynaspan in 2010, Dave relocated to Austin, Texas, where he briefly worked in real estate brokerage before identifying a growing shift in buyer needs—demand for high-quality, architecturally distinctive homes that remain attainable and efficient.

In 2023, he founded Select Tiny Homes to meet that demand. Drawing on decades of construction expertise, Dave set out to create a company that delivers premium craftsmanship, customizable design, and enduring structural quality—without the inflated pricing typically associated with luxury builds. His vision blends timeless architecture with modern building science, offering homeowners flexible solutions ranging from cabins and A-frames to yurts and fully custom designs.
